Questions, answered plainly

Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and you don't need a card to begin. When the trial ends without a plan, Catnap becomes read-only until you choose one. Nothing is deleted, and cats still in house are looked after in the care app.
What counts as a suite, and what is a seat?
A suite is a room you rent out; you add yours in settings and each plan allows a number of them. A seat is a member of your team with a manager, front desk or care role. Cat owners who use the owner portal do not take a seat.
Can cat owners pay online?
Not yet. Owners can see their invoice and balance on their owner page and pay at the desk when they pick up their cat, where you record the payment against the invoice. Paying online from the owner page is coming soon.
Which payment methods are supported?
Your Catnap subscription is paid by card through Stripe. Owners pay at the desk today, and you record cash, bank transfer or your own card terminal against the invoice. Paying online from the owner page is coming soon.
Who owns our data, and can we export it?
Your hotel's bookings, guests and care records are yours. The Pro and Business plans include data export, and you can read how we handle personal data in the Privacy Policy.
Can we cancel anytime, and what happens then?
Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription from Settings whenever you like. After it ends you keep read-only access to your bookings and care data, and we keep it for 90 days before it is scheduled for deletion. See the Terms and Refund Policy for the details.
Does the care app work offline?
Yes. The care app installs on a phone like an app and keeps the day's checklists on the device. Ticks, notes and incident reports made without a connection are saved and sync automatically when it returns. Open it once while online each shift so the day's checklists are loaded.
How is our data handled?
Each hotel's data is kept separate from every other hotel's. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch Catnap's servers. For what we collect and why, read the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.
